About CareClarity
Built by people who understand children's care
CareClarity gives frontline care teams the expert guidance they need, at the moment they need it.
Regulatory frameworks covered
A team that cares about care
CareClarity was founded by a team with direct experience in children's residential care, regulatory compliance, and technology. We've seen firsthand the pressure that frontline staff and managers face: preparing for Ofsted inspections, navigating safeguarding concerns, and evidencing quality under scrutiny.
We built CareClarity to close the gap between the expert knowledge embedded in regulatory frameworks and the teams who need to apply it every day. Our tools don't replace professional judgement. They support it.
Better tools for better outcomes
Our mission is to make expert compliance and practice knowledge instantly accessible to every member of a children's residential care team, regardless of their experience level or the time of day.
When a newly qualified support worker is unsure how to write a child-centred log entry at 11pm, they shouldn't have to wait until Monday to ask their manager. When a deputy manager receives a disclosure, they need structured guidance right now.
The reality of Ofsted-regulated care
Children's residential care in England operates under one of the most rigorous regulatory frameworks in the public sector. The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the 9 Quality Standards, the SCCIF April 2026, and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2026 set demanding expectations of providers.
Inspection outcomes have significant consequences for children, staff, and organisations. Yet the resources available to frontline teams are often limited to static documents, occasional training, and the expertise of a small number of senior staff.
CareClarity changes this. By embedding regulatory knowledge directly into intelligent tools built around the context of residential care, we give every team member access to the guidance they need, when they need it.
A built-in Learning Hub for your whole team
CareClarity is not only about in-the-moment guidance. Every subscription includes a Learning Hub with role-based training that helps your team build and evidence the knowledge Ofsted expects of them.
Training adapts to each person's role — Deputy Manager, Registered Manager or Responsible Individual — so the content always reflects their responsibilities and what an inspector would expect of their position.
Progressive knowledge quizzes
Stages built around the SCCIF and the Children's Homes Regulations, testing applied judgement in real scenarios, not just recall.
AI mock Ofsted interviews
Practise answering the kind of questions an inspector asks, then receive structured written feedback after each session.
Case decision walkthroughs
Work through real-world safeguarding and placement decisions and earn tier certificates as you complete them.
Scenario builder
Turn an anonymised incident from your home into a ready-to-use reflective discussion guide for team training.
Standards and guidance library
The authoritative versions of key regulatory documents, kept current as legislation changes.
